  • The Program

    CDC Preschool provides a safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experience for children ages 3 through 5 years. Program activities support your child’s cognitive, physical and emotional growth. The program utilizes two research based platforms to create a strong framework for success; the Pyramid Model of social emotional competence and Creative Curriculum of early learning standards to enhance school readiness.

    Preschool Sessions

    The Preschool offers several sessions to accommodate the child’s needs and parent request. Sessions are four days per week, three days per week or two days per week in a half-day format. Healthy snacks are provided. The Preschool is closed during the summer months.

    The Preschool Facility

    CDC Preschool features a secure entry system accessib0 only to authorized persons. The state of the art playground is designed to accommodate the collective interests of young children. Parents can monitor and support progress through online access to assessments and other resources.

    How to Enroll

    The first step is a free developmental screening. Areas screened include vision, hearing, communication, cognition, fine and gross motor. Then, schedule a tour of the preschool where you will learn more about tuition and other details of the program.
